George Spiropoulos

Theory of International Relations. International Relations and Third World. Political and Diplomatic History of the States of the Middle East. International Regional Organizations.

George Spiropoulos is Professor of International Relations and Politics in Europe and the developing world at the Department of International and European Studies, University Macedonia. He studied International Relations at the Institute of International Relations Paris and University Paris XI, from where he obtained his doctorate cum laude. He has wide teaching and research experience and he has published in Greek and international Journals. George Spyropoulos has written books on the Middle East, the Arab-Israeli conflict, the Theory of International Relations, the issue of the humanitarian intervention. He has als worked as a researcher at the National Centre for European Studies.
